RAY is built to connect you safely and privately.
What we make public
Your ad includes your photos, item description, price, and the city or district where you are located. Anyone using RAY can see these. We never publish your phone number, email address, or exact home address.
What stays private
- •Your location: We use your device's GPS only to show your ad to nearby people. We store the city and district name — your precise coordinates are discarded.
- •Your conversations: Messages in the in-app chat are visible only to you and the person you're talking with. We do not read or sell them.
- •Your phone number: RAY's chat is the connection. Neither the buyer nor the seller needs to reveal a phone number unless they choose to share it manually.
- •Device information: We may note an anonymous device identifier to prevent spam. We do not link this to your personal identity.
Your control
- •You can delete any of your ads at any time — they disappear from the feed immediately.
- •You can delete your account from Profile → Settings.
- •You can report any listing or chat message, and we'll review it.
- •Chat messages are retained for 30 days after a listing is deleted, then permanently erased.

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, why we hold it, and who else has had access to it.

You can ask us to stop processing your data if it is causing you distress, or if it is being used for marketing you did not agree to. We do not currently use your data for marketing.

You can ask us for a copy of your data in a structured, readable format, or ask us to send it to another service where technically possible.

Right Not to Be Subject to Automated Decisions
RAY does not make any fully automated decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Listings flagged automatically (for example, after multiple reports) are always reviewed by a human moderator before any action is taken.

Right to Restriction of Processing
If you believe data we hold about you is inaccurate or was collected unlawfully, you can ask us to pause using it while we investigate.

Right to Erasure
You can delete any of your listings at any time — this happens immediately. You can also request deletion of your entire account and associated data.

You can correct or complete your profile information at any time.

Your personal data is not automatically passed on to anyone after your death. If you wish, you may name someone in a will who can request access to or deletion of your RAY data on your behalf.

Third parties
We use service providers (data processors) to run RAY, including database hosting, image storage, and messaging infrastructure. They process your data on our behalf but cannot use it for their own purposes. We will never sell your personal data. We may share data with law enforcement if legally required.
RAY acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

- •Usage: pages viewed, search queries, listing views — to improve the product.
- •Chat messages: stored so you can read your conversations.
